Question 1

Does WhatsApp Mod work on iPhone (iOS)?

Accepted Answer

While the official WhatsApp app works seamlessly on iOS, downloading and running modified versions on an iPhone is extremely difficult and unsafe due to Apple's tight security restrictions.

Question 2

Does WhatsApp Mod receive regular updates?

Accepted Answer

Unlike official apps that update automatically via the app store, modded apps rely on independent developers. Updates can be slow, irregular, or suddenly stopped if the developer abandons the project.

Question 3

Can I restore my existing chats to a WhatsApp Mod?

Accepted Answer

Restoring chat backups can be tricky. Standard WhatsApp backs up data to Google Drive, whereas modified apps often fail to sync with Google Drive due to security checks. You may need to manually move local backup files, which can cause data loss if not done correctly.

Question 4

Will my phone number get banned for using a Mod?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is always a risk. Meta regularly updates its anti-ban systems to detect users operating on modified clients like GBWhatsApp, WhatsApp Plus, or FMWhatsApp.
